Where do you recommend flying into to?
Cape Town International Airport. It is about 25 minutes from Cape Town and about 1 hour from Franschhoek.
What is Uber like in South Africa?
Uber is available in both Cape Town and Franschhoek. If you are staying in Cape Town for a few days before the wedding weekend you can Uber from Cape Town to Franschhoek. The distance between the two is around an hour.
Car rentals?
Avis, Hertz, Enterprise are available at Cape Town International airport.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by August 1st 2025.
Can I bring a date?
As much as we love everyone please note that whoever is addressed on the invite is who is invited.
Are kids welcome?
Unfortunately this is an adult only wedding.
Where should I park?
La Cotte Farm does having parking available at the venue if you decide to drive, however we do advise Ubering or using your hotel/guest house shuttle.
What is the dress code?
The wedding dress code is summer formal, which means we suggest you wear a suit of any color, nice cocktail dress or pantsuit.
What will the weather be like?
It will be summer in South Africa, the temperatures during this time will be around 80F/26C during the day however the nights can be a cooler.
We advise bringing sunglasses for the ceremony and a little cardigan/sweater for the evenings.
Shoes for the ladies?
We advise wearing a block heel if you going the heel route as majority of the venue is on grass.
